- We are looking for a **People & Culture Business Partner**to join our small P&C team based in Barangaroo, with travel required between Circular Quay and our Balmain Shipyard. We are seeking a true business partner for this role - someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to immerse themselves in an iconic Sydney business, bringing passion to the role whilst working with our management group to build capability and drive excellence in the workforce.

This role will be working closely to support the General Manager, People & Culture in delivering strategic objectives as well as ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business from a People perspective.

**The talent you bring**:

- A pragmatic and experienced Business Partner, capable of forging strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Strong foundational understanding of good P&C practices from administration, to payroll, to recruitment and policies and procedures.
- The ability to manage ER and IR cases, including investigations, communications, recommendations, and outcomes.
- Experience in consultation, preferably in a blue-collar, unionised environment.
- Capability in driving initiatives through solid project management skills.

**About Transdev**
- This position will be employed in the Transdev Sydney Ferries (TDSF) entity. TDSF operates the NSW Government’s Ferry Systems Contract in a unique arrangement whereby Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is the sole client of TDSF. TDSF employs approximate 690 employees, a large portion of whom are the journey makers who you see operating our ferries. We manage a shipyard in Balmain, where we maintain approximately 39 ferries and our staff are split between the corporate office at Barangaroo, our Operational office at Circular Quay, and the Shipyard. TDSF is an entity of Transdev Australia & New Zealand.
