Chapter Lead, Software Development

The role will be leading the development team responsible for the design and build of software product, platform services and infrastructure across a variety of cloud technologies. This role will have the opportunity to build and manage a modern software product development practice, with broad technical responsibilities across all our products with greenfield projects and technologies.

Here are some specifics about the opportunity:- Contribute to and drive the multi-year vision and product roadmap- Establish and enforce coding best practice- Utilize Agile development methodologies provide technical leadership for all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)- Drive product initiatives to deliver robust and scalable solutions toward this vision, incorporate in new technologies as appropriate.- Build and contribute to a team culture that values delivering customer value quickly, and iteratively- Support sales initiative, including responsibility for technical responses to customer enquiries- Oversee resource allocation to ensure appropriate business and staff development goals are met- Guide, coach, manage and develop best in class engineers across internal team and external consultants- Maintain and enhancement software development best practices-
- Write efficient, clean, tested, and documented code ready for reuse by others-
- Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Delivery environments- Build, support, and maintain the Perpetual Business Intelligence (BI platform using Azure cloud services- Manage the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline and automation processes- Release management

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems or comparable industry experience- 10 years' experience as a software development manager including demonstrated experience in driving standards and improving culture- Experience in mentoring and managing team across best practices and methodologies- Experience as software developer in Microsoft Azure- Experience working on ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#- Experience working on Angular 11, Typescript, Smart / Dumb Component Architecture, Angular Material, SCSS, HTML5 & CSS3- Experience working on Azure, App Service, API Management, Azure Functions, Service Bus, SignalR, Azure SQL DB, T-SQL, Entity Framework Core.- Experience with GIT / DevOps source control and CI tools- Experience with Azure technologies and services (ADF, DevOps, Logic Apps, Web Functions, Databricks etc.)- Strong communications skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders in the business ranging from Analysts to Senior Management- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated strong problem-solving skills- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
