**Position summary**:
**Requirements**:

- Serve as the EU CEO of the crypto exchange and the local Board Member/Director
- Oversee the accuracy and effectiveness of AML/CFT controls
- Plan and implement audits for staff performance
- Serve as the first point of contact between the company and governmental agencies/authorities as needed
- Conduct business development and attend events on behalf of the company as needed
- Hire and work with the product/tech team to ensure the exchange provides a great user experience
- Manage trade operations and other operations that support the growth and development of the business
- Lead the team in expanding to new markets by managing end-to-end compliance-related processes, such as bank partnerships
- Manage and participate in ad-hoc projects and special tasks as appointed by the global CEO or the investors/shareholders of the exchange

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a CEO or in other senior executive leadership roles within the financial services or cryptocurrency industry
- Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology and related regulatory environments
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, manage change, and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong network within the cryptocurrency and financial services industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal language skills in English. Additional languages are a huge benefit
- Lithuanian residency/work rights is preferred
