About the Role
- Demonstrate a resident centered approach in the development of lifestyle or recreational activities, using data collection tools to determine the data base for the particular resident population and write an activity/lifestyle plan for each resident.
- Regularly evaluate the recreational and lifestyle activity programs and develop new and/or additional services in accordance with the changing needs of the resident caseload and individual residents.
- Supervise residents undertaking recreational or leisure activities to ensure their wellbeing and safety and to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in recreational and lifestyle activities research studies as appropriate and utilise research finding in the planning and implementation and evaluation of activities.
