**About the job**:

- Assisting management with day-to-day purchasing requirements;
- Running stock reports and maintaining records for replenishment;
- Resolving supply issues;
- Identifying and addressing discrepancies in stock supplies;
- Maintaining supply & demand records to present to Sales and Operations team;
- Ensuring agreed company policies and procedures are in place and adhered to;
- Ensuring smooth operation which adheres to legislative requirements;
- Develop and maintain key relationships with peers, sales functions, head office functions, current and potential suppliers.

**About you**:

- A minimum of 3 years experience in a stock control role.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Advanced skills in the MS Office suite, including Word and Excel.
- Understanding of legal requirements in relation to food products and the food industry.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation and negotiation skills.
- Well-developed logical and lateral thinking skills with a capacity for innovation.
- A valid drivers licence
