The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Patient Transport Officer based at Cabrini Health Malvern. Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager the Patient Transport Officer is responsible for driving the courtesy shuttle vehicle for non-emergency Cabrini patients. The Patient Transport Officer will operate efficiently and effectively to support the service goals of ensuring outstanding care and experience for our patients. The role is a Part-time (0.6 FTE) and will require availability on three days per week. The role is part time, working weekdays only.

You will require the following:
- Flexibility and a positive attitude- Excellent communication skills- Commitment to excellence in customer service- Experience in patient transport and customer service- Knowledge of the local geographical area- Ability to maintain the vehicle ensuring it is clean, presentable and prepared for transportation of patients

You will also hold current:
- Driver Licence with no infringements or restrictions- Certificate 3 in Non-emergency Patient Transport or equivalent- Police Record check- Working with Children check
