**The Role**

We are on the lookout for an experienced procurement professional or contract manager with strong commercial acumen to help drive procurement outcomes, ensuring to the success of our projects. This role will see you partnering with engaged teams who deliver projects that are transforming our state, such as the Commonwealth Games, Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation, State Basketball Centre, Fishermans Bend Innovation Precinct and other projects that provide affordable housing and deliver social and environmental benefits to the community. You will take pride in your work and be able to walk past iconic landmarks knowing that you were involved in their development and delivery.

The ability to implement procurement strategies based on market trends will be critical. Outstanding stakeholder management combined with a tactical procurement approach to obtain value for money, market engagement and deliver procurement policy outcomes is essential.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Construction, Engineering or Legal with Postgrad qualification in a Procurement field being looked upon favourably
- Commercial partnering experience in procurement, diversity and inclusion, construction or the social sector that is relevant to the provision of advice in the procurement process within government or private sector dealing with government procurement
- Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders to manage competing priorities and objectives and support the delivery of project outcomes
- Project and contract management experience would be considered favourably
