**The Role**

Expressions of interest for Casual Disability Support Worker in the Redlands region. We are looking for disability support workers that are passionate about working in our industry to continue this success. You will be part of a dynamic team that delivers genuine support in all domains of life, to enable access to quality of life with dignity, respect, and social inclusion.

Your role will involve supporting a 55-year-old participant with behaviours of concern, mental health, and dementia.

Main responsibilities include:

- Prompt personal care
- Domestic Assistance
- Emotional Support

**About You**

You are reliable with a good work ethic. You pride yourself on providing personal care with dignity and respect. You understand the importance of providing individualised support within a home environment. Can adapt to different situations? Think outside the box to solve problems? Mature and patience with a positive attitude.

Must be available for sleepover shifts on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 3:00pm to 8:00am

**Your skills and experience include**:

- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Experience in mental health and dementia
- Must have a Queensland driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (2 doses required)
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
