**About the Role**

We are currently recruiting casual support worker to join our team to provide quality support to our participant/client in Redlands Bay. Your work is based in a Participant house or purpose-built Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.

**Positions available**:

- In Home support - 2 - 4 hour shifts (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) - 8-hour shifts including sleepover from Monday to Sunday (Female support worker)

**Clients Supports Needs**:

- Understand the needs, goals, and daily activities of Participants.
- Use positive reinforcement and other techniques to support Participants in their daily routines.
- Prompting assistance: personal care, meal preparation and managing appointments
- Physical assistance required with domestic duties and other tasks as required
- Develop meaningful and professional relationships with Participants and families.
- Community access

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Experience in mental health and dementia
- Must have a Queensland driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 or 4 doses)
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
