This is an exciting opportunity to join Lifeblood’s Cyber Engineering Team and shape your future role. Get involved with the latest Cyber defence and prevention technology including Privileged Access Management, Network Traffic Analysis and Data Loss Prevention whilst becoming a Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert. We see this as a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Cyber Security Professional, or someone with a strong Infrastructure, Identity, Network, or Cloud background but looking for an opportunity to shift-up your tech career into Cyber Security.

You will be provided with a pathway for success with on-going development access to industry experts, vendor training, allocated time to innovate and learn, and participation in conferences / networking / security events. You will work in a Security team that is universally backed by the business and is striving for continuous improvement. If you are proactive and believe in developing close partnerships across the business and vendors, learning new technology and stretching the limits of tools whilst delivering the highest level of customer service then this opportunity for you.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for;
Cyber Security or Infrastructure background

Experience in a security vendor pre-sales engineer role, security tooling implementation role, security operations or security engineering role, OR

Experience in a Senior Infrastructure role such as Server, Network, Public Cloud, Identity, End User Computing or Automation.

**Expert level skills in one or more of the following**: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Network Traffic Analysis (NTA), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Enterprise Certificate Management (ECMS), Enterprise Key Management (EKMS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Public Cloud

Experience managing the lifecycle of tooling and working closely vendors to ensure we get the most out of our investment

Collaborative nature with ability to establish strong relationships with internal ICT and business unit customer groups.

Active participation in user groups and communities of practice in your relevant area of expertise

Experience working within an Agile team with SAFe or Scrum methodologies

Strong communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and take the initiative as required

Ability to utilise information security knowledge, research and understanding to identify opportunity and recommend improvement to work practice

This permanent full-time role will predominantly be based in a ‘work from home’ capacity, with some regular days required in our head office in West Melbourne. You will report into the Manager for our Cyber Security Engineering team working in a close-knit team of Security experts.
