The Inventory & Distribution Lead for Leica Biosystems is responsible for running/managing weekly cycle counts of inventory using SAP, control of inventory, analyze data/report extracted from SAP

This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics located in Mt Waverley and will be on site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the warehouse and report to the Distribution Manager responsible for weekly cycle counts of inventory using SAP, control of inventory, analyze data/report. If you thrive in a fast-paced role and want to work to build a world-class supply chain organization—read on.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Conduct frequent cycle counts and oversee internal stock movements for materials entering manufacturing production lines; provide support to ongoing cycle count program including bin location and slotting.
- Efficiently manage the segregation of materials and maintain up-to-date inventory records in SAP system.
- SAP workflow and invoice coding - raise POs, validate and code all invoices.
- Provide support for Shipping Supervisor when required including liasing with freight companies
- Identify potential and critical shortages that may / will impact schedule(s)

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience with warehouse business process.
- Proven experience using SAP or similar ERP systems from a Warehouse and Inventory Management environment.
- Solid grasp of MS Office (especially Excel) with ability to extract, clean and analyze data.

**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements**:

- Ability to lift, move and carry up to 10kg

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- A LF forklift license will be highly regarded
- E-Warehouse Management, Transport Management Systems/ Shipping Manifest Systems experience would be advantageous.
- Understanding of medical device industry
