**THE OPPORTUNITY**

An exciting opportunity has become available for a **Delivery Driver** based in **Newcastle. **This position involves working as part of our collaborative team - reporting to the Store Manager.

As a Delivery Driver you will be a member of our logistics team and be required to assist with packaging, loading and delivery of products to our trade and retail customer base.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Locate finished goods and load and placement onto delivery vehicles
- Secure load and prepare manifest
- Deliver and unload goods at customer premises as required
- Scan and update records and manifests
- Maintain vehicle and driver logs
- General housekeeping activities
- Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

**ABOUT YOU**
- A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
- Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Enjoys working autonomously
- Forklift ticket whilst preferred is not essential
- CV license, crane truck experience would be an advantage
- HR, HC or MR License (preferred)
- Dogging certificate (preferred)
