**Your new company**
Hays has partnered with a busy state government department to appoint an Iteration Manager to an initial 24-month contract. With a huge pipeline of project work, and a good chance of extension, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term gig in an exceptional team.
**Your new role**
As the Iteration Manager, you will be responsible for the following activities across the ICT Project Services portfolio:

- Facilitating scrum ceremonies and other meetings/events including daily scrum/stand-up, iteration planning (including user story definition, sizing & prioritisation), iteration reviews, iteration retrospectives, feature backlog refinement if required
- Supporting self-managed teams to enable them to manage impediments and expedite interactions/dependencies outside the team
- Managing and tracking sprint progress, maintaining sprint flow by removing blockers and bottlenecks, focusing on goals and communicating any potential risks/recommending solutions Coaching and engaging team members - from a range of ICT and business-focused skillsets - to meet project objectives and uplift Agile capabilities within the department

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will be an experienced Agile delivery professional, with demonstrated success in dedicated iteration manager/scrum master roles before. You'll have a well-developed grasp of Agile behaviours, tools and techniques, as well as a proven ability to coach and lead an Agile team. Your communication (verbal and written) will be exceptional, buttressing your skills in user engagement, conflict management, and influencing people. Experience with Azure DevOps will be highly regarded.

**What you'll get in return**
You'll be offered an initial 24-month contract, with a strong chance of extension and a supportive team around you. You will be remunerated at an hourly rate up to $124.12/hour incl. superannuation, as well as weekly pay cycles with no hidden fees.
