**Role Summary**:
The Principal - Injury Management Role is situated within our Health & Wellbeing team. Within this role you will take on primary responsibility for the development and maintenance of our compensable and non-compensable recover-at-work framework. The role will also oversee activities around Fitness for Work and Ergonomics across the business, as well as taking an active case management role to support Synergy employees who are ill or injured.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Accountable for the creation and implementation of the injury management and prevention framework
- Develop best practice resources and policies for injury management and injury prevention
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks and requirements
- Engage, advise, and support leaders on health, wellbeing and injury management and prevention risks and matters.
- Manage relationships with key functional and business units (BU’s) stakeholders and provide SME advice, coaching, mentoring to achieve optimal outcomes for the business.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Allied health registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor
- Deep belief in and commitment to the “Health Benefits of Good Work”
- Demonstrated experience in working with individuals experiencing both physical and/or psychological injury or ill-health
- 5-8 years working in the injury management space in an employer or provider-based role
- Experience in ergonomics, injury prevention and/or work design preferred
