An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Officer to join a State Government department in East Perth This role is for an immediate start, on an initial 6-month temporary contract.

**Your new role**
- Coordinates assigned project components to ensure that deadlines are met
- Coordinates and assists in the preparation of reports and meeting papers, including minute taking and agenda distribution
- Assists with the development and production of project management documentation
- Maintains an accurate and effective document and file tracking and recording system
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders
- Assists in the preparation of progress reports
- Other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience of providing secretarial and administrative support to Executives
- Previous project officer experience
- Previous government experience is desirable
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Planner)
- A current police clearance, dated within the past 3 months (or willing to obtain)
