**About the opportunity**
The Strategy & Capability Consultant is a specialist role within the organisation’s Centre of Expertise, reporting to the Senior Manager Strategic Capability. The Strategy & Capability Consultant supports Strategic Workforce Planning, and a range of deliverables across the broader capability portfolio, including working closely with Capability teams in the business to co-design enterprise standards and governance.
**You’ll be responsible for**:
- Supporting the delivery of Australia Post’s Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) process.
- Embedding the workforce strategy framework, and educating stakeholders, leaders, and business partners across business units.
- Steering "best practice", continual improvement and consistency of capability frameworks and tools for the workforce.
- Facilitating engagement of external consultants (where appropriate).
**About you**
You are an experienced professional with experience in SWP, strategy and/or capability, and a have a background or exposure to project management and analytics. You have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and team members and an eagerness and willingness to work and develop.
**What are we looking for?**
- Experience in strategic workforce planning.
- Experience in analysis and interpretation of complex people data.
- Strong verbal and written communication to senior management levels.
- Experience in delivering projects and initiatives, particularly across an enterprise or multiple teams.
- Experience in the design and embedding of capability and competency frameworks in large complex organisations.
- A strong understanding of the HR provider market.
