**Position Overview**:
Our client is the local industry leader and major player in the provision of weighing and measurement equipment, including “Turn-Key” control systems, automation and robotics, servicing every industry sector.

As a result of ongoing and unprecedented growth, they are now seeking to appoint several
**“Service Technicians”** to support business operations across Melbourne. These positions report to the Service Manager and come complete with a Company Vehicle (full personal use), Fuel Card, E-Tag, Phone, Laptop & I-Pad - as just some of the benefits provided to enable their staff to provide exceptional service 24/7. Roles will service different geographic locations around Melbourne and aim to be within each Technician's vicinity.

**Position Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Install new equipment and assist other technicians and/or sales staff with installations as required
- Be responsive in troubleshooting equipment and performing corrective maintenance in breakdown situations
- Daily travel in your service vehicle to client locations to carry out scheduled maintenance activities
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with guidelines and in accordance with prescribed schedules
- Ensure compliance with all facets of Trade Measurement Legislation and quality assurance standards
- Ensure accurate timekeeping and records of all service activities on company provided mobile devices
- Assemble, test and package goods for sale, hire or repair as required in the workshop
- Attend and complete any onsite and off-site training requirements
- Be “Pro-Active” in seeking out opportunities to “ethically” increase service hours and identify potential equipment upgrades or system enhancements at new and existing clients using your knowledge and expertise

**To be considered for these roles, you must satisfy the following key selection criteria**:

- Mechanical, Electrical or Electrotechnology trade certificate OR an equivalent is highly desirable
- Possess National/International Measurement Institute Licenses - highly desirable - Training Provided if Necessary
- Prior experience as an electrical or service technician
- Prior Industrial Weighing experience and/or understanding of Trade Measurement system is highly desirable
- Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in instrumentation and measurement
- A positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and excel in the industry
- A current and full Australian Driving Licence
- A Strong understanding of the English language is necessary as these roles are customer facing and written skills are necessary for report writing and recording all activity for billing purposes

**What’s On Offer?**
- A Base Salary circa **$90,000** (Negotiable) with plenty of overtime
- You will be provided with a fully maintained service vehicle which is available for your personal use outside of working hours. This is an incredible benefit and is typically valued at **$20,000**.
- Superannuation contributions of **10.5% **of your ordinary time earnings
