We have an opportunity for an experienced **Plant Operator **to join our packaged products warehouse at West Footscray. This is our busiest packaged products site, with constant movement of trucks, people and equipment. You will work as part of a small team to perform a variety of distribution tasks in a safety first environment.
**About the role**:
As a **Plant Operator** in our West Footscray facility you perform a wide and interesting range of duties mainly comprising of:

- Operating cement bagging machinery
- Truck loading and unloading
- Housekeeping
- Forklift responsibilities
- Perform minor maintenance
- Perform product testing
- Pallet sorting

**Roster**:
This is a Monday to Friday day shift roster working either; 5am-1pm, 7am-3pm, 8.30am-4.30pm.
**About you**:

- At least 3 years’ experience as a forklift driver (current forklift license essential)
- Experience in a similar plant operations role
- Basic computer knowledge
- Sound mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work autonomously and be proactive
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 20Kg
