This is a highly influential role within the business. Working cross functionally to help set the strategic direction across the categories & retailers you are responsible for. We are looking for someone who is able to leverage advanced analytical & strategic thinking skills to develop actionable insights & category growth strategies. In this customer facing role, someone who is self motivated and able to build strong and trusted relationships with key internal & external stakeholders will thrive.

What You Can Expect

In this role you will;
- Be responsible for developing and leading category strategies with key retailers to drive growth, setting new benchmarks and embedding best practice category management principles
- Build strong customer relationships through fact based commercial strategies that are mutually beneficial for Brown-Forman and retail partners
- Leverage consumer, shopper, brand, customer and category insights to develop actionable strategies
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams including Sales, Marketing & Finance to shape category and commercial proposals that support Brown Forman acceleration
- Work closely with sales functions to ensure best in class Range Review & JBP proposals to drive growth of Brown-Forman brands through insight led category strategies
- Work cross functionally with the marketing teams on ad-hoc projects, requests and in the annual brand planning process
- Build internal knowledge of the retail environment & deliver both regular and ad hoc performance & category reporting

What You Bring to the Table
- Tertiary qualified in a business related field (preferred);
- 7+ years demonstrated experience in a leading FMCG or Liquor organization;
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical & strategic thinking skills
- Proven track record developing and implementing category strategies to deliver growth
- Experience in the retail liquor industry or FMCG beverages industry (preferred);
- Prior Cross functional experience in commercial/sales/marketing (preferred);
- Advanced Scan, panel & shopper data skills, including the management of databases
- Advanced Powerpoint, Excel and Google Slides skills
- Experience in analysing & presenting commercial insights for audiences large and small
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and stakeholder management;
