**The Role**:
Johns Lyng Group has been established since 1953 and has a reputation for excellence. Underpinning the company’s success is our in-house Business Intelligence capability in which an opportunity now exists for a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Data and Reporting Analyst.

This role will best suit a self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible individual who is willing to challenge, be challenged and continually learn. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, along with problem solving, analytical and organisational skills are essential.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Extract and transform raw data from multiple databases
- Create reports & insights, enabling informed decision making to drive improved performance across a broad range of business units
- Liaise with executives, senior management and a wide variety of internal & external stakeholders
- Contribute to business improvement projects & working groups
- Analyse variations to targets & forecasts, highlighting implications & providing recommendations for improvement
- Prepare & deliver reports to support contractual obligations to external customers

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Experience performing data extracts using SQL
- Ability to create interactive dashboards using Power BI
- Ability to create paginated reports using SSRS
- Experience developing Python scripts
- Ability to create timely, accurate & insightful reporting with stringent deadlines
- Ability to prioritise work and adapt quickly & effectively to changes in strategic priorities
