Advanced Fresh Concepts is largest supplier of fresh sushi to supermarkets throughout Australia and North America, an industry pioneer with over 30 years experience.AFC has partnered with Australia's leading supermarket chain to introduce its successful hybrid sushi program. Our sushi is prepared fresh daily, in-store with high quality ingredients and is conveniently packaged for customers to eat any time of the day.

We are seeking an experienced Wok Chef who is ready to make the next step in their career and work for a leader in Sushi business.

Some of your responsibilities in this role will be:

- Prepare and merchandise Authentic Asian hot food dishes.
- Monitor the quality of food to ensure that customers receive a wholesome experience.
- Plan, prepare and publish weekly staff rosters and approved timesheets.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and AFC management.
- Maintain food and labour costs commensurate with sales demands.
- Ensure stick losses and shrinkage to be kept at acceptable level.
- Ensure cleanliness of the hot food kitchen and display cases
- Recruit, hire and train new team members.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have at least up to 12 months wok experience
- Have people management skills
- Be experienced doing rosters and planning budgets
- Posses in depth knowledge of Asian culinary techniques
- Have positive can-do attitude and strong leadership skills
- Have obtained Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
