Bookkeeper - Professional Practice - Brisbane CBD - $75k-$85k

You will be working for a Professional Practice firm based within the CBD. With continuous client growth and an already existing varied client base this is a great opportunity to work with a very supportive and collaborative firm.

**Your new role**

As a Bookkeeper, you are responsible contributing to the operational performance of this practice. Your core responsibilities are focused on supporting the financial performance of the business, maintaining technical knowledge and driving customer excellence through effective client service delivery.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You must be able to Support clients on site or from the office with their bookkeeping needs including:

- Payroll
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Submitting BAS
- Bank reconciliation
- Run monthly reports
- Ensure understanding of the scope of work through consultation with the client or internal team
- Review client information and prepare queries as needed
- Follow up with client or client contact to get answers to queries
- Process the work efficiently and in a timely manner
- Manage client and internal expectations regarding deviations from commitments
- Ensure communication channels with the client are open
- Ensuring that lodgements are delivered on time for clients
- Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables
- Client deadlines are met
