Hands-on Bookeeper for 3-6 month temp role based in the CBD
- $40-$45/hr + super

This is a 3-6 month temporary role with a listed, international mining company that is growing rapidly and needs support as they work through a restructure.

This role will work very closely with the Finance Manager and CFO and assist to manage day to day transactional bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The Brisbane team is a small close knit one who are extremely busy and need an experienced professional to add more rigour as the organisation expands internationally.

Key duties will include:

- Reviewing and supporting an outsourced payroll function;
- Undertaking all invoicing, billings, AP and AR transaction including data entry and payment runs;
- Managing Credit Card transactions and reconciliations;
- Weekly bank account reconciliations for 10+ accounts;
- Journals, accruals, balance sheets reconciliations and lead up to month end close;
- Ensuring compliance with relevant BAS, GST, FBT transactions;
- Assisting with monthly reporting as well as annual financial statement preparation;
- Implementing and documenting financial accounting and reporting processes, plus
- Other ad hoc tasks as directed by the local Brisbane finance team.

You are an experienced bookkeeper who is easy going, proactive and happy to roll up your sleeves and perform basic routine tasks. You also thrive in a busy work environment

Experience using MYOB advanced will be highly advantageous.

You will be offered flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.
