**The role**:
As a Health Safety and Wellbeing Consultant you will make an impact by partnering with the business to support the implementation of NAB’s HSW strategy and frameworks, and ensure the effective management of physical and psychosocial risks. Reporting to the Manager Health, Safety and Wellbeing, you will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, a sound understanding of safety management systems, and the ability to balance competing priorities to deliver work to a high standard.

This role will suit a HSW professional who is keen to progress their career in an organisation with a varied risk profile and positive safety culture.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Engage colleagues and business leaders to drive improvements in health, safety and wellbeing performance and ensure they have full visibility of physical and psychosocial risks within their business.
- Undertake health and safety risk assessments and regular reviews of enterprise HSW risks.
- Assist with the triage, investigation and management of HSW incidents.
- Undertake HSW internal audits, participate in external audits and Regulatory inspections as required.
- Assist with the design and development of HSW policies, frameworks and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports for management highlighting key HSW risks and mitigation strategies, safety metrics and areas for improvement.
- Assist with the implementation of HSW consultative arrangements within the business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, People & Culture, Risk, Property, Security and other specialist areas.

**What you will bring**:

- Formal tertiary qualifications in health and safety or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Wellbeing advisory role.
- Strong execution discipline and service mindset that ensures effective and efficient delivery.
- Sound understanding of HSW metrics and ability to write impactful reports for leadership teams.
- Stakeholder management - adept at building and maintaining strong working relationships.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management frameworks including for psychosocial risks.
- Audit experience highly regarded.
- Excellent knowledge of the WHS Act and Regulations.
