**JE Heart Care** is a South Australian disability service provider that focuses on providing culturally appropriate care, tailored based on clients’ needs and goals. From upper management to our highly skilled support workers, we are all passionate about supporting clients to be their best.

We are looking for **4 disability support workers** for immediate start.

**Key responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Supporting clients to achieve their goals.
- Assist clients with outings, social activities, and other daily routines.
- Transporting clients to and from services and activities.
- Providing companionship and support to assist clients to develop their existing skills, and promote independence and ability of decision-making.
- Behavior observation and support.
- Maintaining a record of client progress.
- Assessing client to determine continuing needs.

**Skills & Experience**
- Have skills and experience in working with young people with special needs.
- Passionate about supporting people to help them live their best life.
- Understanding of person-centered support.
- Be honest, reliable, ethical, and a good listener.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Be fluent in speaking English

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- working with young people with special needs: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) (required)
- Police Check Certificate (required)
- NDIS Worker Check (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
- CPR Certification (required)
- Assist Clients with Medication Certificate (required)
- Manual Handling (preferred)
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (required)
- Flu Vaccination Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
