You are passionate about people and the co-worker experience. You are dedicated to contributing to a cost-efficient travel and are upto date with the latest industry trends within Meetings and Travel including digital developments. You know how to implement long-term plans, according to set budgets and goals. You understand how to design and create a physical work environment that enables co-workers to perform their daily work in the best way and how to make transportation, accommodation and other travel arrangements in a cost-efficient way. Your ability to anticipate, plan and minimise the cost of getting the right people in the right place at the right time supports designing, developing and continuously improving processes, services and products to become more cost-effective and efficient. You enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment and act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values.
**Responsibilities**:
As the Meet & Travel Leader, you are responsible for executing and co-ordinating simplified travel support for the IKEA co-workers, including information and trainings. You are accountable for localising Global initiatives for developing meeting culture and operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, health, safety, security, sustainability and low cost.
**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:
- Act as the local contact for all Meet & Travel related aspects in country
- Lead the localisation of Centre of Expertise Meet & Travel concept, frameworks, approach and process in order to ensure successful implementation in country
- Proactively collect and transmit country specific Meet & Travel needs to the Centre of Expertise
- Drive country level planning and coordination of user and organisational needs, and competence (supported by trainings and information) for all meeting and travel areas
- Drive transition to more digital support and optimises offline support in country
- Execute and support solutions related to the development of user adoption, such as local communication, trainings and education, and ensures the competence of super users and matrix, in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Leads country level monitoring to ensure alignment with the mandatory elements of Meeting & Travel policies and compliance with local regulations
- Cooperate across Group and local People & Culture organisation to facilitate standardisation and optimisation of Meeting & Travel data analytics in country, follows up on usage and satisfaction of business support, services and solutions as well as the cost efficiency of meeting programs and travel
The People & Culture team plays a pivotal role in securing the co-worker experience, supporting leaders to ensure their teams are equipped with the knowledge and resources to create a better everyday life for the many people.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This permanent, part time position requires the flexibility of working 5 days weeks and 5 hours per day (50 hours per/fortnight contract). The preferred location for the role is Service Office Sydney however remote work from any IKEA AU location will be considered.
