**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic internal and external communications, advocacy, and engagement plans that support the work of Data Analytics and advance the team’s objective of offering fit-for-purpose data solutions.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Developing effective corporate communication strategies, and delivering on those strategies end-to-end, including creating and distributing content, creating effective training material, conduct effective training sessions (online or in-person), managing internal communications (memos, newsletters, user guides, etc.).
- Supporting communications, knowledge management, and training activities.
- Supporting the establishment of a community of practice if/as needed.
- Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership.
- Supporting Data Analytics general communications tasks (e.g: briefs, internal presentations, etc.).
- Coordinating the development, execution, refinement, and measuring the impact of, communications and knowledge management strategies.
- Reviewing and copy-editing of reports, correspondence, and other materials.
- Leading the end-to-end successful planning, development and execution of strategic communication and training programs and materials that raise the visibility and improve the effectiveness of the Data Analytics service offerings and initiatives.
- Develop and provide training for corporate staff on systems and data.
- Design and deliver written communications; maintain and develop the websites; manage the social media and web communication presence; assess and evaluate training and communication needs and services.
- Work with project leads and data analytics leadership to establish appropriate communication/training schedules.
- Migrate existing content to relevant system.
- Facilitate, coordinate, write and publish blog content.
- Develop and edit video and screencasts and embed into relevant websites/systems.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proven experience as a communications specialist.
- Experience in copywriting and editing.
- Experience with various forms of visual media, branding, marketing, and/or other related areas.
- Experience in relevant communications software such as Microsoft Suite, Google Apps, Adobe Creative Suite, and video-editing software.
- Proficiency in video development, distribution list/newsletter software, and/or social media management.
- Adept at managing communications, creating unified and consistent messages & training material.
- Understanding of data and data analytics.
- Ability to understand technical terminology and concepts, and convey them in simple understandable terms, is crucial.
