About the role
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) works collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to foster clinical governance, clinical excellence to achieve best practice/consumer/person outcomes. In supporting the NUM, the ANUM provides leadership and direction to Nursing staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of safe, quality and cost-effective nursing care consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Specialist Outpatient Department.
About you
- Demonstrate advanced level clinical and problem-solving skills; expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management and provision of person-centred care.
- Demonstrate an understanding of policies and guidelines in relation to safe quality care.
- Demonstrate a very high standard of personal and professional behaviour and creates a culture that reinforces personal and professional standards.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
