Are you a skilled HR professional with a passion for fostering fair and supportive workplaces? We’re looking for a People & Culture Business Partner (IR/ER) to take the lead on all Employee and Industrial Relations matters within our organisation.

**About us**:
Ballarat Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation that’s been creating healthy communities through the provision of accessible, affordable and quality health and wellbeing services for over 45 years.

We deliver a range of primary health, social care and community-based support to meet local community needs. We have approximately 300 staff, with seven (7) locations across Ballarat and the Western Region.

**About the role**:
In this role, you will provide expert ER/IR and policy advice, working closely with very capable people leaders and managers to ensure compliance and best practices. You will be instrumental in interpreting awards, managing legislative requirements, and developing workplace policies that align with the organisation's goals. With a thoughtful and flexible approach, you’ll balance legal requirements with a genuine commitment to employee well-being, fostering fair and effective workplace practices.

Reporting to the Executive Manager of People & Culture, this role will take the incumbent to the next level in their career.

**What you will bring to the team**:
Your partnering skills, HR expertise, and flexible approach will provide meaningful support and guidance to a committed and passionate workforce.

**Experience**: Substantial experience in Human Resources, especially in employee and industrial relations with previous leadership experience considered an advantage but not essential. We would consider emerging professionals with credible ER / IR exposure who want to take it to the next level.

**Flexibility**: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of individuals, managing competing priorities, and addressing challenging situations.

**Coaching Mindset**: A strong focus on offering continuous support and coaching to both the leadership and across the P&C team.
