Medical Receptionist

**Join Our Team at Alpha Omega Family Practice**

Are you experienced in medical reception work and passionate about patient care? Alpha Omega Family Practice is looking for a reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis.

**Hours**:
You will be working on a rotating roster.
- (Starting at 10-20 hours a week)_
- Cover for sickness and annual leave as needed
- Available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm as required

Pay Rate: $30-32 an hour (reduced rate if under 21)

As a Medical Receptionist at Alpha Omega, your role is vital in providing a friendly and professional atmosphere for our patients.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Greeting patients warmly
- Handling phone inquiries
- Booking appointments and managing patient data
- Handling invoices, payments, and Medicare claims
- Managing mail and doctor schedules.
- Collaborating with the team and completing tasks promptly.
- Performing other administrative duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with Best Practice Software is essential.
- Experience in a similar role
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong phone etiquette and multitasking abilities
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Interact with a wide range of personality types in both pleasant and difficult circumstances
- Motivated and reliable, with good attention to detail
