**Position overview**
The Finance Business Partner is responsible for financial & management reporting, processes and procedures across the APS division. Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be directly involved with management and have regular access to the operational teams.
**Position responsibilities**
- **Month-end close**
Close and deliver timely and accurate monthly results such as P&L, WIP and debtors
GL Account reconciliations
Monthly management reporting including the preparation of board packs and associated P&L, WIP and Debtors commentary
- **Forecasting**
Deliver accurate P&L forecasting through partnering with the operations team
Deliver accurate monthly cash flow forecasts
**Business partnering**
**Working capital management**
Review WIP for risks and work with the admin and operations teams to ensure invoicing is complete
Review debtors and work with the admin and operations teams to ensure timely receipt of cash as well as the elimination of intercompany debt
**Financial performance management**
Work across multi-functional teams to improve financial performance
**Process improvement**
Project/job reviews to ensure accurate costing of jobs and accurate invoicing
Review of labour recoveries and labour rates
Business and process reviews (where required)
- **Budget** - work with management to manage the delivery/reporting and improvement of the annual budget process
- **Auditor engagement** - provision of audit support at the half/full-year
- **Champion and develop Power BI** reports to enable real time reporting
- Other ad **hoc analyses** and support as required
**Key requirements and attributes**
- CA or CPA qualified
- Strong communicator with a hunger for continuous improvement
- Power BI knowledge highly favorable
- Sound knowledge and experience in month end financial closing and management reporting
- Attention to detail with quick and accurate turnaround of analyses
- Well-developed business understanding and analytical skills
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Able to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Advanced excel skills
