
Internal Sales Team Leader

**Who are we?**
We have a team based in Townsville and are now looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead our Brisbane team.
Our internal sales team plays a pivotal role in our business growth strategy. The role is suited to an individual who has previous experience as a team leader in the financial services. We're looking for a proactive and results-based individual with initiative. You will need to have sound level of analytical, written, and verbal communications skills.
You will be leading a team of 7 lending consultants and working alongside our existing Sales Team Leader in Townsville. **Your key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Motivating the team to achieve their individual and team targets alongside the Townsville Team Leader to drive the growth strategy
- Looking for ways to deliver a better customer and employee experience
- Working proactively with the Finance One Marketing Team to create internal and external marketing campaigns that will generate additional leads
- Coaching individuals on the management of their workflows and closing deals
- Utilise data to review internal deals and provide useful feedback to assist your team with the delivery of a mutually beneficial outcome in your monthly 1:1's
- Teamwork makes the dream work, and we mean that; it's important to us that you understand this role requires someone to work closely with other departments to deliver our business objectives - this could be (but not limited to) our BDM's, Product, Credit, Marketing, and Leadership teams
- Conducting performance related discussions with your team members. You must understand the importance of providing constructive feedback
- Travelling to our Head Office in Townsville when required
**What you'll bring**:
- Previous experience in a similar role, and industry experience in Consumer Asset lending will be highly regarded
- Previous experience in leading teams with the proven ability to deliver results and objectives
- A positive can-do attitude with a great sense of humour
- Demonstrated ability in sales, people development, and relationship management
- Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- While you don't have to have sub-prime experience, if you do, it's a bonus
