**Position**: Patient Service Assistant

**Employment Type**: Casual (Requirement of at least one shift per week)

**Location**: Melbourne (Metro)

**Remuneration Weekday**: $34 - $37

**Remuneration Weekend**:$52 - $53

**The Position**:

- Ability to use a Gazunda and all manual handling machines and hoists.
- Demonstrated ability to transfer patients safely.
- Demonstrated commitment to the needs of patients within the Hospital setting. This includes awareness of OH&S standards and the ability to comply with legislative requirements. To be aware and comply with the policy and procedures of the facility in which you are working.
- Adheres to Infection Control Protocols of each health care facility.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the commitment to providing quality services to meet the needs of all patients.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 6 months of recent paid Australian experience
- Access to reliable transport.
- Ability to work a minimum of one shift per week.
- Valid Victorian Working with Children's Check.
- Up to Date Immunisation and Serology records.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
