- We are looking for people with strong analytical and communication skills and experience in areas including economics, regulation, data science, and policy analysis
- Be part of a dynamic, diverse, and collaborative team dedicated to achieving impactful results on a variety of engaging projects

The Pricing and Policy Division works across a range of sectors including water, energy, public transport, local government as well as other sectors requested by the NSW Government. Policy analysts regularly rotate across projects based on their interests and experience.
Some examples of current and future projects you may work on are:

- Reviewing the methodology to set the limit on the total amount that NSW local councils can increase their income from rates each year
- Setting maximum fares for Opal public transport services, aiming to maximise the value NSW gets from its public transport network
- Reviewing the early childhood education and care sector in NSW and making recommendations to the NSW Government to improve accessibility, affordability and choice

Our Analysts typically have experience in a relevant field such as a public policy, economic and financial analysis or data analysis. As an IPART Analyst, you will undertake qualitative and quantitative research, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to research papers and briefings.
