The role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Regional Demand Planner to join our team in Perth. The Demand Planner will be responsible for supporting the sales organization as the main contact for planning activities based on customers, product line and stock locations.
- As well as this, you will also:_
- Manage the operational supply chain, including statistical Forecast Accuracy and the Market Area forecast adjustments and maintenance of system safety stock parameters.
- Optimize total supply chain performance, for both service & costs.
- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
- Occasionally be able to visit customers together with sales to build understanding of customer needs
- Define stock level parameters for local warehouses
- Regular reporting on inventory KPI’s.

Essential Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management
- Completion of ‘Basics of Supply Chain’ from APICS is desirable
- Proven experience in S&OP planning process
- Strong problem solving, analytical and strategic planning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships and networks
- A proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
