Ghilgai Steiner School is a small, well established P-6 school located at the foot of Mount Dandenong in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

We are looking to grow our student support team for 2025, and are seeking passionate and suitably qualified people to provide support for students across Classes 1 to 6. Though consistency and continuity are important factors, a job-share arrangement may be possible in the right circumstances.

**Selection criteria**
- Commitment to Steiner education, with qualifications or other expertise in this area
- Qualifications and experience relevant to learning support
- Interest and expertise in child development and a range of additional needs
- Willingness to work with the direction and guidance of various Class Teachers along with school leadership
- Well organised with a sense of initiative and strong planning and documentation abilities
- Flexible and adaptable
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A wish to discover and work with the unique aspects of Ghilgai’s curriculum
- The capacity to be an authoritative adult for all students across the school, helping to model and uphold clear behavioural expectations at all times
- Dynamism and a wish to contribute to the wider cultural life of the school and community
