**About the Role**:We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Male Disability Support Worker to join our team. You will be working with disability participants who has a keen interest in cars, fishing, and animals, and who requires support in their daily activities and community access. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, engaging, and enjoys sharing hobbies and interests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and daily living support to the participant. Assist with social and recreational activities, focusing on the participant's interests, including outings, fishing trips, and visits to animal sanctuaries. - Support the participant in engaging with their community and fostering independence. Assist with meal preparation and planning, ensuring dietary needs are met. Maintain effective communication with the participant and their family regarding care and support. Document and report any changes in the participant’s condition or needs.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Previous experience in disability support or a related field is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of person-centered care principles. A current First Aid and CPR certification is a plus. Valid driver’s license, own vehicle and insurance.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.00 - $35.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
