**Your new role**:
As the Associate Director, Business Finance Partnering you will proactively lead the delivery of advisory finance support functions and project accounting services throughout the department. You will develop strategies to support financial performance management, reporting and analysis.

You will undertake a variety of activities including but not limited to:

- Providing advice and direction that supports decision making in line with service objectives and seeks to ensure priority needs are balanced against available resources and opportunities.
- Providing critical and appropriate capital investing financial information and policy advice to key internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring quality management processes are imbedded in routine management practice.
- Leading, developing and fostering a positive work culture which is based on the organisation’s values and promotes customer service, learning and development, safety, and welfare of employees, acknowledges differences, and encourages creativity and innovation.
- Undertaking budget development and forecasting.

**About you**:
As the successful Associate Director, Business Finance Partnering, you will champion the values of trust and cooperation and approach the role with a strategic and analytical mindset. You will be proactive in making sound decisions that consider organisational needs and evaluate risks.

You will possess the following:

- Tertiary qualification in accounting, economics, or related financial / business management field
- Demonstrated ability to undertake complex, high-level financial research and analysis.
- Extensive experience in the strategic management of financial resources, undertaking financial business analysis, developing financial strategies to improve financial performance, and providing concise written executive financial reports.
- Demonstrated capability to drive and implement change and significantly contribute to change processes.
- Significant experience in the effective development, implementation and management of a large complex organisational budget and forecasting within a framework of critical corporate objectives.
