The Team Leader at Kirrawee Library+ will oversee the development and management of programs that support lifelong learning and community engagement. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure library services meet the needs of the community while leading a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will be responsible for managing resources effectively, implementing safety protocols, and promoting a culture of inclusion and diversity within the library environment. Your leadership will guide the team in achieving Council goals and fostering professional development.

**Position Overview**:

- Lead and inspire a diverse team to enhance community engagement and lifelong learning.
- Develop and implement innovative library programs catering to all age groups.
- Foster partnerships with local businesses and organisations to enrich library services.
- Ensure high-quality customer service through effective team management and continuous improvement.

We are seeking an experienced library professional who is passionate about community service and has a proven track record in team leadership and program delivery.
- Degree or higher qualification in Library and Information Services or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in leading a diverse team within public libraries.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and community engagement abilities.

- **Interview date**:Interviews will be facilitated within 2 weeks of job closing.
- **Package**:$96,668 - $102,469 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- **Hours of work**:Full-time 35 hours per week, with the option of a 19 day month. Applicants must be available to work a range of shifts across a 7 day spread, between the hours of 8:00am - 9:00pm to support the operational requirements of the libraries.
