In this role you will be responsible for assisting the end-to-end product management of all HSBC Personal Lending products (which include Personal Loans, Overdrafts, and Personal Line of Credit) with the focus being Personal Loans, to maximize the Australian portfolio through growth and strategic margin management.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Driving and supporting in the development of Personal Lending strategy, customer journeys, along with the implementation of relevant strategic programs, product launches, and campaigns to maximize product performance.
- Assist to ensure the Personal Lending products are suitable and relevant for our customers and their needs; and proactively support the different distribution channels in providing the right customer outcome and interaction.
- Supporting Personal Lending projects and day to day operations, working closely with different offshore operations within an agile environment.
- Provide timely insights and performance reporting, and bring to light relevant business challenges to relevant stakeholders.
- Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to provide the right customer and product outcomes; this included Risk, Legal, compliance, different distribution channel functions, and external service providers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business / Finance / Economics and/or business-related field.
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience within banking & finance industry and solid knowledge within personal loan products
- Take initiative in driving business outcomes. Take ownership and follow up.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes
- Robust analytical background and proven ability in financial/analytical reasoning, including contextualizing data to draw relevant insights and conclusions preferred, but not essential
- Excellent written and oral communication with proven interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization preferred, but not essential
