Balwyn, Australia Little Lovelies Nanny & Babysitting Agency Full time

**Start date: 23 Feb 2025 (Flexible)**
**Contract length: 12 months + long term preferred**
**Pay: From $35 per hour depending on experience**

A professional family in Balwyn, Victoria are seeking an experienced, patient and nurturing nanny to assist in the care of their 1 yr old baby boy.

**Normal days: 2 days per week**
**Days hours are**:
**Monday: 06:45 am - 6:00 pm**
**Tuesday: 06:45 am - 6:00 pm**

An ideal nanny would be warm, caring, responsive and patient. A nanny that is also friendly, happy and interested to actively engage in activities with the baby which will aid in his growth and development.

The family is looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy, responsible and reliable and is able to care for the baby throughout the day and follow routines.

Prior experience/professional qualifications working with young babies is highly advantageous for this role along with being confident in administering medication including antihistamines and epipens if required.

**The carers responsibilities for this role will be as follows**:

- To care for the baby
- Follow the baby s routine
- Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the baby s development
- Take the baby out for walks/to the park/playground etc
- Walk the dog if time allows
- General tidying up after the baby and light household chores
- Prepare meals and snacks for the baby

**The family s expectations from their nanny are**:

- 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Young baby experience
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Working With Children s Check
- Display strong communication skills and speaks English
- Non smoking
