**Your next career opportunity**
Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Administrator, and you'll play a crucial role in supporting the University's transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the Ascender Pay platform, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing for our diverse workforce.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving Ascender Pay issues
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with legislation, enterprise agreements, and policies
- Triaging and debugging issues, implement fixes, and manage test execution
- Liaising with Subject Matter Experts to define system improvement requirements
- Developing reports, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making
- Assisting the payroll team in processing employee payroll, including salaries, bonuses, and deductions

You are an experienced payroll professional with a strong background in Ascender Pay, eager to contribute your expertise to a transformative project that will shape the University's payroll future.
**You may also**:
- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- Have strong configuration and functional knowledge of the Dayforce system
- Demonstrate experience with Dayforce system building blocks and industrial instrument analysis
- Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Exhibit strong attention to detail, focusing on compliant outcomes and exceptional customer service
- Be organised, detail-oriented, and accurate, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively
