**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**Position**

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong administrative skills in development assessment who is looking to advance their career in the planning and development industry.

**To be successful you will bring**
- Behaviour that positively demonstrates Council’s values of: creative, accessible, respect, energetic and safe.
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent qualification, or extensive experience in a related position.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of administrative functions associated with land use planning and building approval and certificate services.
- Proven ability to handle challenges and utilise problem solving skills to be always solutions focused.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of effective high-level customer service within an administrative environment.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills and telephone manner, including the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Proven excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and anticipate potential problems/ issues.
