About The Role
Position
We are seeking a dedicated and suitably experienced administrative professional to join Council's Development Services team. Reporting to the Manager Development Services, this position is responsible for providing professional administrative and technical support to the section to assist with the processing and assessment of development applications and certificate applications to contribute to high-quality development outcomes across our shire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong administrative skills in development assessment who is looking to advance their career in the planning and development industry.

To be successful you will bring

• Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent qualification, or extensive experience in a related position.
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of administrative functions associated with land use planning and building approval and certificate services.
• Proven ability to handle challenges and utilise problem solving skills to be always solutions focused.
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of effective high-level customer service within an administrative environment.
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills and telephone manner, including the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Proven excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and anticipate potential problems/ issues.

The rewards

• An annual salary range of $70,800 to $81,200 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
