ABOUT US

The Fox Hole is a cocktail bar and kitchen in The Rocks. A short walk from Circular Quay, we’re surrounded by some of Sydney’s best restaurants, bars, and cultural landmarks.

We’re known for our **back bar of over 100 gins, 50 whiskies, 20 wines by the glass**, and a modern British food menu crafted fresh by our kitchen. Our experiences include **Gin High Tea, spirit tastings, and seasonal dinners** that celebrate food, drink, and storytelling.

This is a **casual role (~20hrs per week)** with the potential for more hours and clear progression pathways into Senior Bartender, Head Bartender, Duty Manager, and beyond (if you're keen).

YOUR ROLE
- Delivering excellent service and great conversation to our guests
- Mixing and serving cocktails, spirits, and wine to a consistently high standard
- Maintaining bar cleanliness and presentation (the bar is always on show)
- Learning about (and sharing) your knowledge of gin, whisky, wine and cocktails
- Supporting daily operations including stock, deliveries, and bar prep

ABOUT YOU
- Friendly, positive, and energetic with great banter
- Experience as a cocktail bartender (or ready to step up into the role)
- If you have strong knowledge of cocktails; whisky, gin, or wine experience it would be a plus but not required
- Commitment to detail, pride in your work, and solid RSA practices
- Reliable, flexible, and a true team player
- Smart presentation and strong conversational English
