ABOUT US

The Fox Hole is a cocktail bar and kitchen in The Rocks. A short walk from Circular Quay, we're surrounded by some of Sydney's best restaurants, bars, and cultural landmarks.

We're known for our back bar of over 100 gins, 50 whiskies, 20 wines by the glass, and a modern British food menu crafted fresh by our kitchen. Our experiences include Gin High Tea, spirit tastings, and seasonal dinners that celebrate food, drink, and storytelling.

This is a casual role (~20hrs per week) with the potential for more hours and clear progression pathways into Senior Bartender, Head Bartender, Duty Manager, and beyond (if you're keen).

YOUR ROLE

  • Delivering excellent service and great conversation to our guests
  • Mixing and serving cocktails, spirits, and wine to a consistently high standard
  • Maintaining bar cleanliness and presentation (the bar is always on show)
  • Learning about (and sharing) your knowledge of gin, whisky, wine and cocktails
  • Supporting daily operations including stock, deliveries, and bar prep

ABOUT YOU

  • Friendly, positive, and energetic with great banter
  • Experience as a cocktail bartender (or ready to step up into the role)
  • If you have strong knowledge of cocktails; whisky, gin, or wine experience it would be a plus but not required
  • Commitment to detail, pride in your work, and solid RSA practices
  • Reliable, flexible, and a true team player
  • Smart presentation and strong conversational English
