AV is seeking an experienced Improvement and Innovation Advisor for our Quality and Patient Experience Department to manage projects, deliver training and assist with capability building.

This is a full time, permanent position, currently based in Blackburn North.

**About the role**

The improvement and innovation advisor provides project management, coordination, workshop and stakeholder engagement support for improvement and innovation capability across AV. Supporting workforce development through training, mentoring and coaching within the Quality and Patient Experience division and reporting to the Improvement and Innovation Senior Lead, the responsibilities of the improvement and innovation advisor include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate, lead and support agreed process improvement initiatives utilising recognised improvement methodologies to deliver measurable outcome improvements,
- Lead, promotes and fosters continuous improvement across all elements of the organisation to support achievement of Best Care goals,
- Manage the implementation and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives and improvement capability assessment,
- Support initiatives aimed at building process improvement capability within the Quality and Patient Experience Division and across the organisation.

**About you**
- A degree or relevant industry certification with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience
- A qualification in improvement science, preferably LEAN thinking and Six Sigma (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrated project related experience, including working with project management artefacts like PMP, riskplans etc
- Interpersonal and influencing skills to gain acceptance and support of ideas and the ability to modify style to accommodate situations and individuals
- Proven ability to assist and coach employees with the implementation of changes arising from improvement initiatives
