We are interested in Manager level individuals with more than 5 years of experience to join our national Operational Resilience team

The Manager Operational Resilience reports to the Head of Operational Resilience.

Ideally, we need someone with knowledge of Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and regulatory & prudential compliance requirements including in particular; CPS 231, 232, 234.

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills are also essential as the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

**Your new role
As Manager Operational Resilience, you will execute the program and activities required to enhance our KPMG operational resilience frameworks. This will require complementing the full range of resilience disciplines including Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Emergency Management and Crisis Management, IT Service Management and Recovery, Cyber Security and Third Party Risk Management.

This role will focus on working with teams from across KPMG's division to maintain and improve our Operational resilience program:

- Performing Operational Risk & Resilience review and Business Impact Analysis
- Supporting the KPMG Operational Resilience Policy, Framework & Continuity program including all projects, monitoring, governance, compliance, audit and assurance activities
- Maintain programs to ensure an integrated, streamlined & sustainable approach across all operational levels of KPMG including close collaborations with client services, technology teams, Information Security, People & Inclusion, Procurement, Risk and Workplace.
- Assist with the coordination of key Operational Resilience working groups and response teams including the National Crisis Committee, Major Incident Management Group and Covid Committee
- Assist in the design and delivery of annual Resilience, Crisis / Business Continuity Exercises
- Coordination of the KPMG Australia Operational Resilience Governance Committee
- Assisting the service lines to mitigate & manage disruption risks in a way that enhances their ability to meet business objectives, stakeholder expectations and compliance obligations.
- Supporting the design, development, training, maintenance and assurance of Operational Resilience Policies and Frameworks
- Being flexible and assisting with any other resilience activities needed to respond to challenges

**We're interested in hearing from people who have**:

- A broad perspective on Operational Resilience including practical and significant experience in any, or several of the resilience disciplines - i.e. Business Continuity and Crisis Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Cyber Security, Third Party Risk Management, Supply Chain Resilience and Operational Risk Teams
- Diligent stakeholder management and problem-solving, able to work with ambiguity, unblock and drive outcomes
- An absolute passion for Operational Resilience and safeguarding our people, clients and communities
- An Operational Resilience, Business Continuity or IT background

**You bring to the role**
- An interest in Operational Resilience, Operational Risk and Business Continuity
- Good understanding of ISO22301, ISO27001, CPS230, CPS231
- Strong analytical, reporting, business writing and problem solving skills
- Ability to be pro-active and work independently or in a team
- High level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet critical deadlines
- Strong communication skills - facilitating workshops and enriching conversations, presenting to small and large groups, and facilitating day-to-day stakeholder engagement
- Excellent report writing and document design skills to quickly distil complex content into easy-to-understand and visually appealing experiences
- A commitment to excellence, problem fixing, and forming high-quality relationships
- A willingness to work hard and make an impact
- Ability to support, lead and inspire stakeholders
