Reporting directly to the Chief Executive as a critical part of the Executive Leadership Team, this important Adelaide based role provides leadership, direction and guidance to all marketing, communications, public relations, sales and customer engagement activity across the Maxima group to ensure high visibility of the brand and high quality communications with all stakeholders and both business and individual customers. Primary responsibilities include:

- forging and delivering a coherent and integrated long-term marketing strategy for the organisation;
- leading, developing and motivating a diverse team of marketing and communications professionals;
- positioning Maxima to take advantage of a variety of public relations and media opportunities;
- developing and leading effective digital marketing and communications strategies;
- ensuring appropriate market research, analysis and assessment of trends to maintain competitive advantage and inform strategy;
- developing and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including strategic sponsorship partnerships.
