Our client are a household name in the financial services space, who have recently undergone a significant phase of positive transformation within the procurement function. As a result of a high profile project being undertaken, an opportunity has arisen for several senior sourcing professionals to join their function and sit across key spend portfolios.

**Your new role**

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives within your defined category portfolio. From conception through to contract execution, you will be tasked with driving commercially beneficial and business critical outcomes and also need to manage associated risk.

Key roles and responsibilities will include:

- Devise and execute end to end, high value strategic sourcing events across your assigned portfolio of indirect spend
- Align the sourcing strategy and execution pipeline with the overall category strategy, aligning with the category leadership teams and relevant business stakeholders.
- Foster positive, long term strategic relationships with broad groups of stakeholders through organisation
- Proactive management of your portfolio, including management of contract expiry and sourcing pipeline
- The more senior positions (there are multiple available) will have 1-2 direct reports

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will be an established senior sourcing professional with demonstrated experience operating in a highly structured corporate environment. You will bring either a broad variety of indirect category experience, or otherwise, an intricate understanding of a more defined set of categories.

You will be a strong communicator, with the ability to influence and collaborate with interna and external stakeholders to drive commercial and business outcomes, and ideally, for the more senior of the positions, come with prior people management experience in a procurement context.

The package for the role will be around $170-180k + super with a bonus to be paid based on company performance on top of that. The role is based in the CBD, with 2 days a week working from home flexibility as standard.
